Our Family Assistance Program accepts requests from families in St. Augustine and surrounding communities facing financial hardship. Requests can be related to groceries, utilities, housing costs, or other essential household needs.
We consider household circumstances, income, the urgency of the situation, and funds available. A family experiencing an unexpected hardship can be considered even if its income is above a general guideline.
We assess need.
Applications are reviewed using consistent, need-based criteria. We may ask for supporting information later.

If we can consider an award, we'll explain what happens next. Awards depend on available funds.
